Tanya Donelly Readies Three Album Collection

News Note: Singer/songwriter and founding member of three influential bands of the post-punk era, Tanya Donelly (Breeders, Throwing Muses, Belly) will release Swan Song Series, a 3-CD set out May 20 via American Laundromat Records. The Swan Song Series is a collection of songs in which Donelly collaborated with friends, musicians and authors such as Rick Moody, Robyn Hitchcock, John Wesley Harding, Bill Janovitz (Buffalo Tom), Tom Gorman and Gail Greenwood (Belly), and Claudia Gonson (Magnetic Fields), and explored a range that wasn't always captured on previous albums. This collection includes the first 5 self-released digital EP's and 7 brand new, previously unreleased tracks on a 31-song album. Donelly will host shows in NYC and Boston in September to support the release. This summer Donelly embarks on a Belly reunion tour with shows in the UK and North America. Dates for both tours TBA.
